One Day...

One day, maybe, today,
or tomorrow, or maybe

years later,
It shall all make sense.

Your laurels shall have beholders,
Your smiles shall have company.
Your tears shall have a home,
And your heart shall find solace.

You'll probably be different,
Or you could be all the same.
But, you'll find, it's YOU.
Not moulded not masked.

Even if the road ahead seems too hazy,
Even if it is tapering at the end.
A marvel is about to unfold,
Take a step, reach out for it.

Time shall be slow,
When it sees you grow,
And, time shall be fast,
When you wish it to last.

But, that's just about it.
Minutes shall become years.
And months shall suffice in a second.
It will all happen.

There'll be days you want back,
Moments you wished to freeze.
One thing that hurt you the most,
Shall have tens that showed you your best.

You're not in a race against time,
You're on a venture, on a search,
To look out for the wonder that hides,
Behind layers of yourself.

There'll be cheese for the mice,
And bamboos for the panda.
There'll be all things nice,
That takes you to a complete euphoria.

And one day, maybe today,
Or tomorrow, or maybe,
Years later,
You shall have a galaxy!!

19 May 2016
Not all people you love are meant to stay close.

An Address-less Note...

This one is for my little angel who left for the heavenly abode on this day, in 2014. Two years have been really busy and long, but, that in no case, can make her memories fade. A part of me still wanders back in time remembering what it was like, when we had so many amazingly awesome moments. I shall safely foster them for years to come.
Below is a poem I wrote for her today. The mural on the right is a small dedication to the wonder she was. SHE STILL IS. :)
She's up there with the stars, pouring pails of love on us. And, she shall smile, reading this (Hopefully, miraculously.)

"This is to a beautiful lady,
Whom I proudly call mine,
One whose sparkle is seldom lost,
And she never fails to shine.

This is to the stories we weave,
And the ice creams we ate.
To the movies you and I see,
And the songs we hate.

Remember how we conquered
Seven floors devoid of any light?
And the tiny mouse,
That led to a sleepless night?

The huge plans we make
And the places we go,
The fun we have,
And the tantrums we throw.

Accepting the horrible fact -
These words you shall not read,
"Allow her, for just once",
To God, I sincerely plead.

Yes, with every passing day,
These are things of the past,
But I promise, our friendship,
Till infinity and beyond shall last :)"
Stay blessed, dear!

Reminiscences of School Life

  26 March, 2016

Time. Flies. There was one day, when, I'd to wake up so early, to get ready for my first day at school. And then, there is today, when I finished my last board exam (Officially out of school now).

Back in nursery, reaching up till here seemed like conquering the Everest. What I fancied then, were my crayons, and my "beautifuls colourfuls world". Those rhymes that had to be accompanied by actions. ("Machchli jal ki raani h"). Those 'finger on your lips' moments. We were super-talented and participated in each and every competition.

There was hardly anyone who could recite the morning assembly prayers perfectly. All of us just randomly moved our lips for many years.( At least, I did). "Gooood Morrningg Maaa'aaam" "Light hasss gone"....Growing up had no effect on the elongation. Doing the homework was important. Being the monitor, was an honour.

Who'll not remember the infinite requests for, "sports period" ? The ones on the first bench had to invariably peep into the arrangement register and announce good news. All of us have that one experience of standing out after recess, we all had the same reasons as well, "Bell nhi sunaai di ma'am" "bas, aa hi rhe the".

Then, there was a time, when we had classifications for friends. Secrets. Girl talks and boy talks. Your lunch-boxes and the stuff inside defined your status. Solah-parchi-dhhap, raja-mantri-chor-sipaahi, TDS. (You have to have played them, to know them)

The last two years, simply vanished to nowhere. It feels like just yesterday when friends called up for the tenth results. I made some really good friends. I had the best teachers in the world. I learnt multi-tasking :P I did all that I wished to. I made my place in the hearts of many.
To those who still have time to spend within the school, remember to do all that makes you happy. Give everything a try. In the end, you'll only regret the chances you didn't take.
One day, the bell shall not ring for home time. Make sure you create reasons to return to school before that. :)

She - A Tribute to Humanity

'She'- a tribute to humanity
'She'- an apostle of divinity
'She'- the upholder of fraternity
'She'- the symbol of femininity.

She who cares for the society
She who offers you opportunity
She who answers all curiosity
She who longs for dignity.

She supports all through your life
She suffers all your strife
As a sister, as a wife
She lends you a wonderful life.

The daughter who understands you
The friend who guides you
The mother who keeps you far from dearth
Be really quick to understand her worth!

IF I HAD A ROBOT

To help me in my study,
It would be my buddy.

To play with me
And keep me full of glee;

A cute robot to make me smile,
who will go with me every  mile.

Anything I need,
It would do any deed.

Looking just like me,
As if I am seeing me.

This is what I dreamt last night,
It was such a lovely sight!

It would be so much fun,
If I had a robot-at least one!
